Types of Memberships

Cadets: Perspective members ages 12-17 join as cadets.  The cadet program teaches military drill and customs  and courtesies, leadership skills, aerospace education, and emergency services. A member who has joined as a cadet can remain in the cadet program until they are 21.

Senior Members: Volunteers who are the age of 18 or older and do not have a child who is a cadet will join as a Senior Member.  Upon joining, Seniors are exposed to the different aspects of CAP and then choose a specialty track.  As Senior Officers advance in rank they further their training in their specialty field.
